Its been so long since the last update. So long kah?? Long la tu. B4 this igt nk update hari2. But what to do?? I've been busy lately with exams, assignments and ofcourse fyp. Yeah, my fyp x siap2 lg. Stuck there for 3 weeks eventhough tgl the last part shj. Kalau x dh siap okay!! I think there is something wrong with the programming. But lets 4get about that part for a moment..

so now, mari menggembirakn hati..or is it mengembirakn??erk what happen to my BM =S

I'm going to Europe on the 2nd of June and i'll be back on 14th of June..

Short time, so many places to go. So my sis said she couldn't predict if we would have enough time to visit all of these places. Plus the domestic flights lg and the train. Sempat ke?

Arrive in Dublin on 2nd of June
My sis graduation on 4th of June
Start trip on 5th of June
End of trip (must be in London) on 12th of June
Back to Malaysia on 14th of June
Now, that leaves us with.... 7 days

This 7 days to cover:
- Rome/ Florence
- Bern
- Amsterdam
- Paris (Paris-London wajib naek keteretapi laju)

As for me, at first xnk pegi since my sv ajak g conference time tu n xnk my parents bazirkn duet to bring me along. Owh I'm such a good daughter la. Tp, tp kaaaan. My mom xnk ank yg disayangi ini ditinggalkn. Hehe. Eh btol la. Walaupon ayt ini nmpk sgt over. But I can feel it. So in the end, trpkse la ikot n brlaku suatu pembaziran di sini and I promise to repay all of this back bila dh keje. Can I?? InsyaAllah. X)

Attention!! Itu semua bulan 6 nanti..

Yesterday,

I couldn't sleep and I wanted to die. Huhuuu~

It all started at 11.00 pm last night. Getting ready to prepare slides for my final year project and suddenly my eyes could not see clearly..It was getting blurry..So i put on my spectacles and keep on to do my slides *bersemangat!!*..But after the clock strike 12 ='( ..I'm started to get dizzy and just gave up like that. Sungguh susah nk dapat semangat buat keje, last2 jd mcm ni. Dugaan btol la. wuwuwu..

After that, I get ready to sleep. But yet, the headache didn't go away..grrr..and it started to get even worst..Felt like throwing up..So in the end, I slept with my hand holding a plastic bag..I think I slept around 3.00 am..sgt menyeksakan tahan sakit sorg2 ni..huhu..nk mesej mcm org dpt membantu je..

But today, I'm feeling fine..I guess maybe I didn't eat enough yesterday..yep, need to eat more today =)

MOTO campus event

Just came back from the MOTO campus event..soo tired brjln2 ke sane cni..and i think i lost few kilos already..hehe..today after the subuh prayer about 6.30 am dh kene siap2 dh..i actually went there with two of my cosmates [mr burn n mr acem]..we went to the komuter station at about 8.30 am if i'm not mistaken and took the 9.00 am train..and i started loya2 nk muntah..i guess i had train sick la XP..then we took the lrt next..soo many people and had to stand..aiyoowh loya2 pon tahan je la..and i'm not quite sure when we finally arrived..at KLCC both of them need to go to the toilet..and guess what??i waited for them for quite a long time..lalala~wutever la what they do in there..after that we went to the Mandarin Oriental Hotel but the registration did not open yet for the evening event..so we went to The Star Education Fair at KL Convention Centre..jauh brjalan eventhough it is actually not so far..but still, i need to walk fast and catch up with them with these shoes..really feels like it was hundred miles away..[still loya2 lg ni]..nmpk je tough brjln X) oops before that we had our lunch first..then br la brjalan2 kt edu fair sambil mencari2 org..haha..but could'nt find~ we went to the edu fair sekejap je..then g hotel blk..get ready for the interview..and i finally realized that all those loya2 thing sbb takot intebiu..hehe..and not bcos of the sick train..well maybe a bit..there is not enough oxygen la in there..really!!first there is a talk session.. and they actually said that we are the top 80 from hundreds of people..(bangga lah XP)..most of them is from UTM and only a few were from other universities like MMU and UNITEN..my interview session is actually at 5.00 pm..thank god awal sket..really hate to wait that long..my interviewer is a malay man..so it is quite okay la i guess..but i really regret it..the question is actually a simple one tp..biase la careless mistake..haha..but i did get some of it right..so i'm proud of myself..thanx 2 my practical fren yg bg soalan2 bocor..arini nk intebiu mlm td br stadi sket..hehe..tu pon cari kt intenet..i did'nt bring my books home..and actually the day i went home, i nearly forgot to bring all my certificates..isk3..nmpk sgt xmo g intebiu..the last even is the lucky draw..my feveret part eventhough x slalu lucky..and the grand prize that they were giving away is a motorola handphone..yeah i am LUCKY..they called out 3 names including me..but then kene rebut jwb soklan..and yet i'm not the LUCKY one..hukhuk..nyesal x dgr talk btol2..kalau x dpt hp baru..

Holiday!

Got another 2 weeks more before my holiday ended. During this holiday, the only thing that I do is wake up in the morning, sidai bj, bsh bj, kemas rmh, take care of my baby niece, online and ofcourse play my brother's play station portable..haha..you can say that my holiday is simply boring X)

Gossip girl

Whenever I have nothing to do, I would go watch my favourite tv show and start to picture scenarios that can be considered as impossible to happen. There were times I wished my life would be like Blair's. I would have the perfect features and a mom who has her own designer label. But being Serena is not that bad where loads of Marc Jacob's can be found in my closet. Picturing myself living in a place where the rich and famous lives. It's impossible. But hey, THIS IS REALITY. There are people out there who's lucky enough to live a life like that, BUT don't you think they have issues, and problems of their own?

Eventhough I target for 4 flat this sem, well maybe its not my luck yet. Maybe next sem will do. Dream on Ezreen! Sadly i got B+ for my engineering management. Cursed you management. urgh! Thank god i'm not studying human resource right now. I'm an engineer to be *wink2*. One semester to go and i will be a graduate engineer.

Few days before, I got a call from Motorola and confirmed that I got a slot for Motorola Campus Interview on 10th January 2009. And I was like *what??!!*, I only send my resume just for fun because my friend send it too. haha. berlagak. I hate interviews. Well actually i'm bad at it at certain times. I don't want to go!! I don't want to go!! Help me please ='(

I just want to further my studies and get married ant teach my kids engineering at the age of 3..hehe

Book review

I have just finished reading this book last night. It took me about 3 days to read it..hahaha..still quite an achievement. Dh lame x bace novel2 english neh. English pon dh berterabur. This book belongs to my sister actually, i just read it though..huhu..but still it is a nice story. Really nice =)

The Kite Runner tells the story of Amir, a boy from the Wazir Akbar Khan district of Kabul, who is haunted by the guilt of betraying his childhood friend Hassan, the son of his father's Hazara servant. The story is set against a backdrop of tumultuous events, from the fall of the monarchy in Afghanistan through the Soviet invasion, the mass exodus of refugees to Pakistan and the United States, and the rise of the Taliban regime.

Amir, a well-to-do Pashtun boy, and Hassan, a Hazara and the son of Amir's father's servant, Ali, spend their days in a peaceful Kabul, kite fighting, roaming the streets and being boys. Amir’s father (who is generally referred to as Baba, "daddy", throughout the book) loves both the boys, but seems critical of Amir for not being manly enough. Amir also fears his father blames him for his mother’s death during childbirth. However, he has a kind father figure in the form of Rahim Khan, Baba’s friend, who understands Amir better, and is supportive of his interest in writing stories.

Assef, a notoriously mean and violent older boy with sadistic tendencies, blames Amir for socializing with a Hazara, according to Assef an inferior race that should only live in Hazarajat. He prepares to attack Amir with his brass knuckles, but Hassan bravely stands up to him, threatening to shoot Assef in the eye with his slingshot. Assef and his henchmen back off, but Assef says he will take revenge.

Hassan is a successful "kite runner" for Amir, knowing where the kite will land without even watching it. One triumphant day, Amir wins the local tournament, and finally Baba's praise. Hassan goes to run the last cut kite, a great trophy, for Amir saying "For you, a thousand times over." Unfortunately, Hassan runs into Assef and his two henchmen. Hassan refuses to give up Amir's kite, so Assef exacts his revenge, assaulting and raping him. Wondering why Hassan is taking so long, Amir searches for Hassan and hides when he hears Assef's voice. He witnesses the rape but is too scared to help him. Afterwards, for some time Hassan and Amir keep a distance from each other. Amir reacts indifferently because he feels ashamed, and is frustrated by Hassan's saint-like behavior. Already jealous of Baba's love for Hassan, he worries if Baba knew how bravely Hassan defended Amir's kite, and how cowardly Amir acted, that Baba's love for Hassan would grow even more.

To force Hassan to leave, Amir frames him as a thief, and Hassan falsely confesses. Baba forgives him, despite the fact that, as he explained earlier, he believes that "there is no act more wretched than stealing." Hassan and his father Ali, to Baba's extreme sorrow, leave anyway. Hassan's departure frees Amir of the daily reminder of his cowardice and betrayal, but he still lives in their shadow and his guilt.

Five years later, the Russians invade Afghanistan; Amir and Baba escape to Peshawar, Pakistan and then to Fremont, California, where Amir and Baba, who lived in luxury in an expansive mansion in Afghanistan, settle in a run-down apartment and Baba begins work at a gas station. Amir eventually takes classes at a local community college to develop his writing skills. Every Sunday, Baba and Amir make extra money selling used goods at a flea market in San Jose. There, Amir meets fellow refugee Soraya Taheri and her family; Soraya's father, who was a high-ranking officer in Afghanistan, has contempt of Amir's literary aspiration. Baba is diagnosed with terminal oat cell carcinoma but is still capable of granting Amir one last favor: he asks Soraya's father's permission for Amir to marry her. He agrees and the two marry. Shortly thereafter Baba dies. Amir and Soraya learn that they cannot have children.

Amir embarks on a successful career as a novelist. Fifteen years after his wedding, Amir receives a call from Rahim Khan, who is dying from an illness. Rahim Khan asks Amir to come to Pakistan. He enigmatically tells Amir "there is a way to be good again." Amir goes.

From Rahim Khan, Amir learns the fates of Ali and Hassan. Ali was killed by a land mine. Hassan had a wife and a son, named Sohrab, and had returned to Baba’s house as a caretaker at Rahim Khan’s request. One day the Taliban ordered him to give it up and leave, but he refused, and was murdered, along with his wife. Rahim Khan reveals that Ali was not really Hassan's father. Hassan was actually the son of Baba, therefore Amir's half-brother. Finally, Rahim Khan tells Amir that the true reason he has called Amir to Pakistan is to go to Kabul to rescue Hassan's son, Sohrab, from an orphanage.

Amir returns to Taliban-controlled Kabul with a guide, Farid, and searches for Sohrab at the orphanage. In order to enter Taliban territory, Amir, who is normally clean shaven, dons a fake beard and mustache, because otherwise the Taliban would exact Shariah punishment against him. However, he does not find Sohrab where he was supposed to be: the director of the orphanage tells them that a Taliban official comes often, brings cash and usually takes a girl back with him. Once in a while however, he takes a boy, recently Sohrab. The director tells Amir to go to a soccer match and the man "who does the speeches" is the man who took Sohrab. Farid manages to secure an appointment with the speaker at his home, by saying that he and Amir have "personal business" with him.

At the house, Amir has his meeting with the man in sunglasses,who says the man who does the speeches is not available, due to the fact that he is participating in wrongful acts of adultry. The man in sunglasses is eventually revealed to be his childhood nemesis, Assef. Assef is aware of Amir's identity from the very beginning, but Amir doesn't realize who he's sitting across from until Assef starts asking about Ali, Baba and Hassan. Sohrab is being kept at the home where he is made to dance dressed in women's clothes, and it seems Assef might have been sexually assaulting him. (Sohrab later says, "I'm so dirty and full of sin. The bad man and the other two did things to me.") Assef agrees to relinquish him, but only for a price - cruelly beating Amir. However, Amir is saved when Sohrab uses his slingshot to shoot out Assef's left eye, fulfilling the threat his father had made many years before.

Amir tells Sohrab of his plans to take him back to America and possibly adopt him, and promises that he will never be sent to an orphanage again. After almost having to break that promise (after decades of war, paperwork documenting Sohrab's orphan status, as demanded by the US authorities, is impossible to get) and Sohrab attempting suicide, Amir manages to take him back to the United States and introduces him to his wife. However, Sohrab is emotionally damaged and refuses to speak or even glance at Soraya. This continues until his frozen emotions are thawed when Amir reminisces about his father, Hassan, while kite flying. Amir shows off some of Hassan’s tricks, and Sohrab begins to interact with Amir again. In the end Sohrab only shows a lopsided smile, but Amir takes to it with all his heart as he runs the kite for Sohrab, saying, "For you, a thousand times over.".
